Yesterday, on July 23rd, The Katherine’s Light Foundation generously donated $10,000 to the Katherine Mueller Nursing Scholarship at Anne Arundel Community College. This scholarship supports students aiming to pursue studies in registered nursing or those already enrolled in AACC’s registered nursing degree program. Katherine Mueller, a dedicated nursing school candidate, was actively involved in community outreach programs at a local hospital, where she taught health classes focusing on underserved communities and the elderly. The scholarship was established by the Katherine’s Light Foundation and aims to commemorate Katherine’s legacy and illuminate her spirit by providing aspiring candidates with the opportunity to fulfill their dream of becoming a Registered Nurse.
