On January 30, 2024, we gathered at Anne Arundel Community College (AACC) Health and Life Sciences building to present a check for $5000 to establish the Katherine Mueller Nursing Scholarship. The check was presented to the Elizabeth Appel, Dean of Health Sciences. Also attending were AACC Foundation Executive Director, Vollie Melson, AACC Foundation board member, David Orso, and AACC Foundation Development Director Wendy Thomas. Katherine’s Light Foundation members attending were Larry Sells, Robin Sells, Michael Hall, Matt Mueller, and Amanda Shields.

We were given a tour of the nursing facility and to quote Robin Sells, “today was a great day, I am very pleased with the establishment of the Katherine Mueller Nursing Scholarship.”
